Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer II to support rapid design, development, and testing of high-reliability electrical systems for spacecraft programs. You will oversee the full hardware development lifecycle from requirements capture and schematic design through bring-up, integration, and production, collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Solid understanding of applicable codes and standards including PCB and PCBA design.
• Proficiency with PCB design in Altium Designer or equivalent.
• Experience with spacecraft electrical system design and testing.
• Knowledge of spacecraft power systems, avionics, and communication subsystems.
• Embedded firmware development experience.
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and Simulink.

Responsibilities

• Execute from requirements capture to schematic design through bring-up, integration, and production.
• Support high‑reliability electrical systems for spacecraft programs.
• Contribute to system architecture development and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Participate in design reviews to support program requirements.
• Perform derating and worst‑case circuit analyses; document results.
• Develop and maintain documentation for electrical systems and components.
• Support hardware through production, integration, and launch.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and QA processes.
