The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled technician to model and analyze MW/MT/MD sensors and system architectures for national security space programs. You will develop tracking algorithms and improve modeling tools, supporting interdisciplinary teams across radar, EO, and RF domains.

Qualifications include a STEM degree and 2+ years in space systems or algorithms, with proficiency in MATLAB/C/C++, Python or FORTRAN, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• At least 2 years of relevant space systems or algorithm experience.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python or FORTRAN.
• Experience with Word, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
• This role requires ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform modeling and analysis of MW/MT/MD sensors and broader system architectures.
• Use a mix of in-house, custom and government modeling tools for analysis.
• Assess performance of EO, radar, and passive RF sensor concepts and algorithms.
• Develop and implement radar/lidar tracking algorithms and improve tools.
• Create computer tools and simulations to support cross-functional teams and trade analyses.
