Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional programs across engineering, operations, and product teams in a telecommunications environment. You will drive planning, execution, testing, and deployment, translating complex requirements into actionable roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in telecom or tech project leadership, PMP or related certification is a plus, and strong collaboration across vendors and internal stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 8+ years in telecommunications engineering or related roles.
• Experience delivering large cross-functional technical projects.
• Experience with service providers, network operators, or large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans with scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resource requirements, and success criteria.
• Lead complex technical projects from initiation through deployment and handoff.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, product, and delivery.
• Monitor progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Translate requirements into actionable project plans and roadmaps.
• Support deployment and integration across network domains.
• Facilitate collaboration to transition new capabilities into production.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify process improvements.
• Drive accountability across teams and vendors to ensure delivery.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for issues.
