Job summary

Anduril Industries in the Space team seeks a Software Engineer, Systems Test to design, build, and deploy test software and infrastructure for space systems and flight hardware. You will create robust, automated test platforms used by engineers to test at all integration levels.

Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers, you will implement data collection, remote monitoring, and fleet-level reporting while ensuring scalable, maintainable software across mission threads.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background in software or related field.
• Experience designing and deploying automated test software for complex hardware.
• Experience with cloud-based development, data analysis tools.
• Design for extensibility, maintainability, and resilience in software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-based tools for automated space system test execution and data collection.
• Design and build automated test platforms for verification of hardware modules and full space vehicles.
• Develop robust test reporting systems with clear logging for debugging.
• Create metrics for debugging and monitoring test system performance.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to integrate test software with hardware.
• Define verification and validation strategies across multiple teams.
