Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking early-career engineers for applied test engineering roles across multiple sites, including Huntsville, AL. You will design, analyze, and operate test systems for fluid, propulsion, mechanical, and electronic subsystems, and oversee integration with safety and manufacturing teams.

You will analyze test data to verify requirements, conduct risk assessments, and develop test software to improve frequency and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related field
• Graduated within the last year and available to start Fall 2027
• Experience in a testing environment and executing test procedures
• Relevant internship/co-op or hands-on experience showing technical skills and leadership
• Ability to earn trust and collaborate in an inclusive culture
• Self-driven with ability to work independently and in teams on rapid development programs

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and operate test systems for fluid, propulsion, mechanical and electronic components
• Analyze test data to support verification of requirements
• Direct hardware integration into test facilities
• Plan tests, assess risks, perform evaluations, set up experiments, review data
• Develop test support software and equipment to improve frequency and quality
• Identify, scope, and resolve test-related problems
