Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking early-career Aerospace Systems Engineers to join multiple business units with placements in Kent, WA; Denver, CO; Reston, VA; and Cape Canaveral, FL. You will be matched to an engineering team based on your skills and our needs.

You will design and engineer the overall systems infrastructure, including hardware, software, and configurations, and contribute to safety, integration, and technical services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.
• Recent graduates welcomed, start by Fall 2027.
• Experience in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering on complex systems.
• Ability to break down problems and communicate status clearly.
• Internship/co-op or hands-on experience showing technical and leadership skills.
• Ability to earn trust, build relationships, and support inclusive culture.
• Ability to work independently and in teams on rapid development programs.
• Flexible, adaptable mindset and self-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

• Based on career path, work across system definition, test, integration, safety, operations, and verification of fluid, mechanical, propulsion and electrical systems.
• Translate internal requirements into test system specifications with traceability.
• Develop and manage interfaces via ICDs and drawings.
• Lead and present at gated reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) on system readiness.
• Own verification and validation planning and Test Readiness Reviews.
