Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Technical Project Manager Intern for Summer 2027 to support programs from concept to completion. You will assist with schedules, risk management, and key stakeholder interactions for multi-spacecraft missions.

Qualifications include a B.S. in aerospace engineering or equivalent, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and Excel is highly valued.

Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace engineering, or equivalent technical degree (e.g. physics or applied math).
• Strong communication skills, both internal and external facing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across different tracks and groups.
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and communicate tactical plans clearly.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Support programmatics from concept to completion for projects ranging from small internal R&D to multi-spacecraft missions.
• Run risk management processes, encourage risk documentation, and track burndown plans.
• Coordinate approvals of risk closure and facilitate headcount forecasting.
• Plan and organize periodic internal program reviews with schedule and requirements.
• Work with engineers to develop schedules for subsystems and boxes.
