Job summary

Astranis is seeking a Technical Project Management Intern for Winter 2027. The role supports program schedules, risk management, and stakeholder interactions across space systems, from small internal R&D efforts to multi-spacecraft missions.

You will work with engineers to develop schedules, run risk processes, and help with headcount forecasting, with internships lasting twelve weeks for students enrolled in a four-year university.

Qualifications

• B.S. in aerospace engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support programmatics from concept to completion for projects ranging from small internal R&D efforts to complete multi-spacecraft missions.
• Run risk management processes, track burndown plans, and coordinate approvals of risk closure.
• Facilitate and streamline headcount tracking and forecasting.
• Plan and organize periodic internal program reviews including trending schedule, risk, and key program requirements.
• Work with engineers to develop schedules for subsystems and boxes.
