Benchmark Space Systems is offering a Software Engineering Internship for the summer of 2027 in Burlington, Vermont. You will collaborate with the Avionics team to design, build, and test electronics for satellite propulsion systems and gain experience with industry best practices, documentation, and presenting work to cross-functional teams.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university for CS, software engineering, CE or related field.
• Previous internship or research in space industry is a plus but not required.
• U.S. Person requirement applies; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain internal software tools for avionics design, test, and analysis workflows.
• Build and improve data logging and databasing infrastructure for test and telemetry data.
• Develop and maintain controller software for PCBA test stands, including automated test sequencing and reporting.
• Support development of flight software variants for additional aerospace protocols.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews with senior engineers.
