Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Cedar Park, TX is seeking an Information Systems Security Manager to own RMF accreditation for space systems and enterprise IT, translating security policy into system requirements and managing authorization packages to obtain and maintain ATOs. You will coordinate with system owners, engineering, and government AOs, develop SSPs/POA&Ms/SARs, and oversee continuous monitoring per NIST SP 800-37.

U.S.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years as ISSM, SCA, or cybersecurity compliance role in aerospace/DoD.
• Experience with RMF per NIST SP 800-37 Rev. 2 and ATOs.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, 800-171, and FISMA.
• Experience with DoD tools eMASS, ACAS, HBSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF accreditation lifecycle across space systems and ground stations.
• Coordinate with system owners, engineering, and AOs; prepare authorization packages.
• Develop SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs and maintain RMF artifacts.
• Maintain continuous monitoring and control validation per NIST.
• Present compliance status to senior management and government customers.
