Job summary

Apex Space, Inc. is seeking professionals to own and contribute to the authorization posture of space vehicle and classified cloud mission environments. You will craft RMF packages, manage POA&M, and sustain continuous monitoring for a multi-system portfolio, including space and cloud domains.

The role welcomes candidates from ISSE, SSE, ISSM, or ISSO backgrounds across levels, from new grads to senior engineers, and offers an opportunity to shape security for aerospace systems.

Qualifications

• Citizenship and security clearance required or strongly preferred.
• Experience reading pipeline output, querying APIs, and interpreting scanner/config state.
• Willingness to learn RMF and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Own or contribute to RMF authorization posture for space vehicle and classified cloud environment.
• Build and sustain authorization packages, manage POA&M, and continuous monitoring.
• Define authorization boundaries and tailor controls per system.
• Document control inheritance models and ensure evidence-based compliance.
