Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a security-focused professional to own and contribute to RMF authorization for space vehicle systems and a classified cloud mission operations environment. You will develop authorization packages, monitor POA&Ms, and ensure continuous monitoring across a multi-boundary space program.

The role supports boundary definition, tailoring, and control narratives with a focus on evidence-based compliance, leveraging OSCAL and CI/CD pipelines to automate artifacts.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required to access export-controlled data.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and SAP eligibility preferred.
• Experience with technical tooling: reading pipeline output, API queries, and configuration state.

Responsibilities

• Own the authorization boundary determination for the flight segment and the rationale that survives assessor scrutiny.
• Tailor the control baseline with per-control rationale using sector-specific profiles.
• Define the type-authorization for the bus and design how each vehicle off the line generates its own conformance evidence.
• Translate verification artifacts into assessment evidence and advise engineering on gaps.
• Own continuous monitoring for a fleet: downlink security audits, drift, and on-orbit software update events.
• Define and document authorization boundary for classified cloud and ensure proper control inheritance.
