Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst – Level 2 to join our Redondo Beach team. You will perform detailed schedule, resource, and cost analyses across multiple programs and interfaces with cross-functional teams and leadership to keep programs on track.

The role requires experience with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, PS3, Open Plan) and a Top-Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling.
Master’s degree with 1+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling.
An additional 4+ years of experience may substitute for a degree.
Strong PC skills and proficiency in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with scheduling software (MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone, Deltek, SSI Tools).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts.
Make recommendations to solve problems and create presentation content for leadership.
Interface with functional and supplier teams and the Program/Project Manager.
Develop, coordinate, and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Implement scheduling best practices including DCMA 14-point, IPMR DI-MGMT-81861, EVMS, CP Analysis, SRA.
Provide weekly status and reporting and participate in IBR/JSR audits.
