Job Overview

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst to support multiple programs and contracts by managing schedules, resources, work, and cost analysis. The role involves interfacing with functional and supplier teams and presenting findings to leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis for multiple programs and contracts.
  • Make recommendations to solve problems, create presentation content, and present to various levels of leadership.
  • Interface with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager.
  • Prepare, develop, and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives and ensure horizontal and vertical integration.
  • Implement scheduling best practices, including DCMA 14‑point IPMR, EVMS, critical‑path analysis, schedule risk analysis (SRA), and schedule performance and health metrics.
  • Provide weekly status reporting and conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience in program/project planning and scheduling OR Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with scheduling software such as MS Project 2016, Open Plan, PS3, Primavera P6, Milestone Professional, Deltek, and SSI Tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top‑Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in MS Project 2016.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) and schedule management.
  • Experience with Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA).
  • Active U.S. Government Top‑Secret security clearance.
