Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Project Manager to lead DoD-enabled space security programs, coordinating technical teams and stakeholders to deliver operational capabilities. You will manage testing, evaluations, and risk mitigation while aligning schedules, costs, and performance with mission goals.

The role requires a Secret clearance, DoD acquisition experience, and strong communication. On-site presence is expected 2–3 days per week at a California facility supporting national security objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in project management for DoD or defense programs.
• Experience with DoD 5000.02 directives and acquisition planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional meetings and liaise with customers.
• Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs with technical teams and mission stakeholders to convert requirements into capabilities.
• Coordinate testing, analysis, evaluation, validation, and verification activities.
• Identify risks and implement early mitigation across cost, schedule, and performance.
• Navigate DoD acquisition processes and maintain program governance.
