Job summary

Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. seeks a Deputy Program Manager to lead space systems programs, coordinating diverse engineering teams to design, analyze, build, and test space-flight hardware and ground support equipment.

You will manage plans within budget and schedule constraints and represent the project with MSFC customers and stakeholders. The role requires extensive program management experience, PMP credential, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in engineering or closely related field.
• More than ten years of professional experience; minimum 15 years in Program/Project Management (Team Leadership).
• PMP credential and spaceflight hardware development/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with financial planning and reporting (NASA 533/CPR) and Earned Value Management.
• Knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100 and NASA systems engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze variances and take corrective actions.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to design, analyze, build, and test space-flight hardware and ground support equipment.
• Represent the project at MSFC meetings with customers and procurement representatives.
• Plan, direct, control, and coordinate financial and engineering activities to meet objectives.
• Manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and risk; ensure on-time customer satisfaction.
