Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems sector is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to lead all phases of satellite program work. The role focuses on delivering cost and schedule performance while meeting technical requirements and maintaining customer intimacy.

The successful candidate will direct cross-functional IPTs, manage budgets and baselines, and drive proposals, risk management, and change control activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years’ experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or project management in other industries.
• 4 years demonstrated success leading teams to achieve a common goal.
• Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI access.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the program life cycle from inception to closeout.
• Manage cost, schedule and technical performance of programs or sub-systems.
• Cultivate customer relationships and develop opportunities within the customer community.
