Job summary

Boeing Space & Mission Systems seeks a Program Chief Engineer (Lead or Senior) to provide engineering leadership across multiple satellite programs, ensuring design validation, software and systems engineering, integration, test and risk management. The role develops an engineering center of excellence for a future proprietary portfolio.

This position is 100% onsite at El Segundo, CA, with relocation support for eligible candidates and a clear path to lead the National Programs Chief Engineer

Qualifications

• Tier 5/SSBI background investigation and US citizenship required.
• BS in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or CS.
• 10+ years of experience in space systems development.
• 14+ years of related work experience or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership to cross-functional teams and manage resources.
• Develop statements of work and plan program execution across life cycle.
• Coordinate performance metrics, schedules and authority accountability.
• Lead, communicate outcomes, and implement process improvements.
• Work independently to deliver program objectives.
