Onsite at El Segundo, CA, the role covers product definition, validation, system engineering, design integration, test, certification, and risk management, with focus on lifecycle delivery and coordinating internal and supplier teams.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Tier 5 security clearance.
• BS degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in space systems development.
• 14+ years related experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides engineering leadership to a team representing multiple skill areas.
• Develops statement of work (SOW) to satisfy R&D and business needs.
• Develops new concepts expanding products or services lines and coordinates resources.
• Identifies performance metrics and ensures WBS/PBS, schedule, and resources are covered.
• Defines roles and responsibilities with RAA and maintains org chart.
• Leads project execution to complete the work statement.
• Presents outcomes, assessments and corrective actions to management.
• Works independently.
