Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis Engineer 3 to support USSF/STARCOM. The role emphasizes radar and satellite system modeling within distributed MS&A architectures, requiring strong quantitative skills and collaboration with senior leadership.

Required are a BS in a related STEM field, 5+ years in MS&A, and an active TS/SCI clearance. Colorado Springs location offers a challenging environment with comprehensive benefits and ESOP participation.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor of Science in computer science, modeling and simulation, OR related STEM; master's degree highly preferred
• 5+ years of system design experience, including hardware/software integration
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
• Experience in Modeling & Simulation development and implementation
• Radar systems analysis and simulation
• Satellite systems modeling and operations
• Experience with distributed M&S architectures including time management & synchronization
• Understanding of time management and synchronization protocols
• Knowledge of complex system-of-systems interactions and integration

Responsibilities

• Provide requirements recommendations for updates to analytical models, methods, and M&S tools focusing on radar/satellite modeling
• Augment tool requirements via mission research and analysis to create COAs for new models and tools
• Capture requirements for existing MS&A tools (e.g., AFRL's AFSIM, SDMC's EADSIM) to include space effects
• Support development of distributed M&S frameworks addressing time synchronization and multi-system integration
• Develop plans to refine prototype modeling apps with GUIs for refined data requirements and usability
• Coordinate with teams to solve diverse problems and align with leadership objectives
• Create analytical models and simulations for radar and satellite systems
• Analyze space system inputs to formulate senior-leader recommendations
• Brief senior officers and civilians on MS&A findings
• Support requirements development and documentation for distributed MS&A architectures
