Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks a Junior Radar Modeling and Simulation Engineer in Huntsville, AL to contribute to high-fidelity missile defense simulations. You will design, implement, and validate models across MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python, supporting critical defense initiatives and informing design decisions.

The role requires collaboration with systems engineers and software developers, documentation of methodologies, and clear communication of results to government customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of missile modeling and simulation or related field.
• Experience with radar design/analysis and signal processing.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain high-fidelity missile and sub-system models in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python.
• Perform performance analyses of radar systems, especially RF seekers.
• Conduct trade studies and sensitivity analyses to optimize missile designs.
