Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Technician at either Level 1 or Level 2 in Promontory, UT. This 100% onsite role supports mechanical integration, assembly, and test of space flight hardware for Sentinel program, with duties reading detailed drawings and following work instructions.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance, and strong communication skills. Travel is limited and typical benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Level 1 requires 0 years, Level 2 requires 2 years of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government BATFE Employee Possessor License.

Responsibilities

• Support initial engineering stand-up of activities and transition into production operations.
• Support plans and schedules for Launch Vehicles activities in Promontory, Utah.
• Sustain contractual obligations through coordination with Production Manager.
