Job summary

Leidos has an immediate opportunity for a Mechanical Modeling Engineer to support the National Space Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Responsibilities include constructing detailed 3D CAD models of foreign spacecraft and producing analytical assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with significant experience, an active TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency in 3D CAD modeling software such as SolidWorks, NX, and Catia. Competitive benefits and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or similar with 4+ years relevant experience, or Master's with 2+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance needed.
• 2+ years of experience with 3D CAD modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Draft notional capabilities of satellite components.
• Produce high-confidence answers to space system problems.
