Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space at Kennedy Space Center, FL, is seeking an Electrical Systems Integration and Manufacturing Engineer to plan procedures for the Orion Spacecraft Elements Team and support mechanical/electrical integration environments.

The role focuses on harness installation, instrumentation, thermal prep, tool selection, and problem solving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Primarily 2nd shift (12:00 pm–9:30 pm) with possible weekend support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical or Manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of production manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of Design For Manufacturing and Assembly (DFM/DFMA).
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and providing technical feedback to engineering.
  • Advanced Skills in the Microsoft Office software suite.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of components and systems.
  • Synthesize customer needs into test solutions within constraints.
  • Define input/output parameters and ensure system integration.
  • Coordinate subsystem and system testing with other organizations.
  • Write discrepancy reports and perform regression testing.
