Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Instrument/Electrical Technician II to join the JETSII contract. The role involves planning, installing, and testing electrical and instrumentation systems for NASA-related facilities and test stands.

Requires NEC knowledge, 4+ years of field experience, and the ability to work in a team within a union environment. This is a CBA union position with responsibilities spanning wiring, panel builds, and equipment troubleshooting in lab/industrial settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of field experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• General knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Basic computer and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Layout, and install electrical and instrumentation wires to facility equipment per engineering work orders and schematics.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation buildup and installations per NEC and NASA guidelines.
• Trace wiring and verify facility drawings against schematics.
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems using diagrams and manuals.
• Work at various elevations and in confined spaces as required.
