Job summary

Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) Engineering seeks a Software Integration & Test Engineer to design, develop, and own software tooling and frameworks for integration testing in space-based and terrestrial environments.

You will define how teams test, architect reusable test platforms, automation frameworks, and lab infrastructure to accelerate verification of complex systems. Candidates must be a US citizen with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and long-term health of test automation frameworks and CI/CD tooling for hardware-in-the-loop and lab environments.
• Architect and validate software tooling, test algorithms, scripts, and data visualization for verification of complex hardware.
• Define tooling best practices across the lab engineering org, with automation and IaC patterns.
• Analyze test data and coordinate with partners, suppliers, and customers to assess product performance and improvements.
• Prepare reports on test results, coverage, and KPIs; communicate issues to developers and managers.
