Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Gilbert, AZ seeks an I&T Mechanical Engineer (1st Shift) to support space vehicle test activities. You will coordinate mechanical build and testing, develop work instructions, and ensure safety and quality across the test program.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with relevant experience; Masters not required.
• Experience in integration, test, mechanical operations, or manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain/retain a DoD TS/SCI and/or SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead I&T activities for space vehicle systems and supporting hardware.
• Develop detailed work instructions and test procedures for operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure safety and quality in testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
