Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a seasoned Systems Test Engineer to lead requirements, plan and execute complex test campaigns, and coordinate hardware/software integration for next-generation MILSATCOM systems.

You will guide test bed development, ensure rigorous verification, and mentor teams across labs and factories, while contributing to mission-critical space programs and security clearances.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Test preparation activities and test execution of complex systems.
• Experience leading small/medium sized teams to achieve demanding objectives.
• Ability to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements definition for new labs and tests, develop an integrated test plan, and oversee test execution.
• Lead the test team's support to systems hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution.
• Lead the development of products needed to conduct testing at factory and in orbit.
• Lead the generation of system test requirements.
• Lead development of key system-level risk reduction test beds.
• Demonstrate leadership and strong organizational skills in cross-functional teams.
