Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer to support system engineering and design analysis for satellite communications. This role involves analyzing requirements, interfaces, and trade studies to ensure performance within schedule and cost constraints.

You will lead technical reviews, collaborate with engineering teams, maintain baselines, and document requirements in a traceable manner. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Understanding of systems engineering processes and coordinate across multiple disciplines.
Experience with agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban).
Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Perform system analysis and interface definition for your assigned subsystem.
Lead and coordinate technical product development and reviews through the design lifecycle.
Collaborate with subsystem design teams to drive design evolution.
Lead trade studies for enhanced subsystem design and capabilities.
Establish and maintain functional, allocated, and product baselines.
Author and trace requirements in a requirements management tool.
