Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Colorado is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the SEIT team. You will perform requirements development, allocation, and verification for the next-gen MILSATCOM system, coordinating with hardware, software, and other engineers to ensure proper flow-down and traceability.

The role requires 3 years of systems engineering experience, familiarity with DOORS or CAMEO, and the ability to develop ICDs and support design reviews.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• Requirements allocation, flowdown, verification, and/or VCRM development experience.
• Familiarity with DOORS and/or CAMEO.
• Experiencing developing and/or verification of Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Experience working either Satellite or Ground Segment programs.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance. Thus US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Develop, allocate, flow-down both performance and functional requirements from the system to its constituent segments and elements.
• Coordinate closely across the SEIT team and with lower-tier systems, hardware, and software engineers to ensure a comprehensive allocation and understanding of the system requirements.
• Develop verification and validation plans; lead the applicable verification and validation activities ensuring the systems both meets requirements and performs as needed.
• Support/lead key program design reviews
