Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer (NSDC Operations Lead) at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. You will lead space operations initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure system readiness from concept through production and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Active TS clearance with SCI and in-scope CI polygraph.
• Experience in space operations, integration and lifecycle support.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with IC partners.

Responsibilities

• Work full time at a customer site in Colorado Springs.
• Coordinate with geographically separated operators to create synergy.
• Certify as BSA-N crew member and cover shifts including holidays.
• Support CONOPS development and operational checkout of new systems.
• Participate in planning, technical meetings, and design reviews.
• Provide technical inputs to PMO on contract performance.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate implementation with users.
