L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer (NSDC Operations Lead) to provide senior technical leadership in space operations.

The role focuses on tactics development, planning, exercises, and lifecycle support for complex systems, collaborating with hardware, software, and management teams. The position requires a TS clearance, strong written and verbal communication, and experience leading cross-functional teams in defense space programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI.
• 9+ years of relevant experience (or 7+ with graduate degree; or 13+ years as alternative).

Responsibilities

• Work on site at Colorado Springs customer location.
• Coordinate with separated operators and diverse commands.
• Lead and manage cross-functional technical efforts across space programs.
• Support CONOPS, procedures, and operational checkout of new systems.
• Participate in technical exchanges, design reviews, and readiness activities.
• Provide technical inputs to PMO on contract performance.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, cost, schedule, and compliance.
