Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a Lead Systems Engineer for the MOSSAIC program at Schriever SFB, Colorado. The role focuses on technical leadership in space operations and lifecycle support of complex space systems.

The successful candidate will coordinate with hardware, software, and test teams, develop CONOPS and procedures, and collaborate with IC partners to Protect and Defend space assets while meeting schedule and cost objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; or 7 years with a graduate degree; or 13 years without a degree.
• Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information

Responsibilities

• Work full time at a customer site in Colorado Springs.
• Lead cross-functional technical efforts across hardware, software, mechanical, test, and management.
• Develop CONOPS, procedures and the operational checkout of new systems.
• Coordinate with IC partners to support the Protect and Defend mission.
• Contribute to design reviews and project readiness cycles.
