Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, computer science, data science, physics, mathematics, or another STEM discipline.
• Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more broad engineering or mission-focused technical fields.
• Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems, analyze data, and contribute to mission-oriented outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively on cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to peers, leadership, and/or customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering knowledge across one or more targeted areas, including systems engineering, program management, communications and PNT, electronics and sensors, software and data engineering, data science and AI/ML, cybersecurity, flight vehicle systems, and mechanical systems and materials.
• Support technical analysis, requirements development, integration, testing, modeling, evaluation, or execution activities to solve complex mission challenges.
• Partner with customer-facing and program teams in El Segundo to support space and national security mission priorities.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate mission needs into actionable engineering solutions and informed technical recommendations.
• Operate strategically to understand broader mission objectives, align technical work to program priorities, and anticipate downstream impacts.
• Engage with impact and lead change to build trusted relationships, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and help teams adopt improved approaches, tools, or processes.
• Foster innovation and deliver results to identify new ideas, improve mission outcomes, and deliver high-quality products, analysis, or recommendations in support of customer success.
