Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 2 to join a Scrum team delivering mission-focused software in an Agile environment. You will define requirements, interfaces, and MBSE artifacts for Ground Segment Functions, integrate and test software segments, and drive system engineering activities across the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform architecture and design work, and prepare demonstrations for customers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of engineering experience; or Master's degree in STEM
Active TS clearance at time of application and start date
Experience with MBSE methodology and tooling (No Magic Cameo)
Experience with space-vehicle, command-and-control, or mission management domains
Experience with Agile programs and development lifecycle

Responsibilities

Drive development and execution of features for the satellite ground systems domain
Participate in working groups to translate customer needs into digital artifacts
Support verification planning, test requirements, and key products
Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews
Provide SME in Space-Vehicle C2 and collaborate with teams
Conduct demos and briefings for customers and leadership
Ensure integration of capabilities with ground satellite software systems
Utilize Jira dashboards and Confluence knowledge bases
Lead milestones and Agile product increments
Collaborate with distributed teams across projects
