Job summary

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is seeking a Space Systems Engineer to develop spacecraft hardware across multiple lifecycle phases, from concept to production.

You will work on multidisciplinary teams with engineers and technicians to deliver thermal and mechanical solutions for satellites, instruments, and space platforms. Ideal candidates have hands-on engineering interest, CAD/FEA/CFD proficiency, and a background in mechanical or aerospace engineering.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD, FEA, and/or CFD tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Hands-on engineering, product development, and manufacturing interest.
• U.S. Person per ITAR restrictions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support initial product design including concept generation and analyses.
• Create 3-D CAD models using SolidWorks and perform CFD/FEA analyses.
• Produce 2-D drawings and design review documentation.
• Develop fabrication procedures and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians across disciplines.
• Support program schedules and budgets and communicate with customers.
• Assist business development and marketing activities as needed.
