Job summary

Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) seeks a Space Systems Senior Engineer to lead development of spacecraft hardware from concept through production.

You will own multidisciplinary programs, interact with customers, and help turn early concepts into tested, manufacturable flight hardware. Join us to work on diverse space programs, including thermal and mechanical systems, CAD/FEA modeling, and hands‑on prototype fabrication.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in a technical-oriented company.
• 3-5 years hands‑on experience designing heat transfer equipment, with a strong preference for concept-to-prototype involvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of initial product design including innovative concept generation, Excel or hand calculation analyses, and Detailed Thermal Analyses (steady state, transients).
• Fabrication procedures & travelers.
• Working with a diverse group of engineers and technicians; managing program schedules and budget; frequent and professional customer communication.
