Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and test electrical harnesses for satellites and ground support equipment, collaborating with senior engineers on aerospace projects.

You will create detailed schematics, select harness components, develop test plans, and document interfaces to ensure reliable system integration with power, RF, and data-handling subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with aerospace harness design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, test, and support the integration of electrical harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, select wiring, connectors, back shells, and other harness components, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Develop and execute test plans to verify functionality, reliability, and performance of electrical harness systems.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation procedures, analyze test data, and troubleshoot issues to meet design requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including interface control documents, system schematics, block diagrams, harness drawings, and installation procedures.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
