Job summary

AST SpaceMobile is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join our aerospace team in Midland, TX. You will help design and test electrical harnesses for satellites and ground support equipment, working closely with senior engineers to meet stringent space-grade requirements.

You will create schematics, select components, develop test plans, analyze data, and document interfaces and installation procedures while collaborating with power, RF, and data handling subsystems to ensure integrated

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
0–2 years of industry experience or recent graduate with hands-on project experience.

Responsibilities

Design, test, and support integration of electrical harnesses for spacecraft and ground systems.
Create detailed electrical schematics and select wiring, connectors, back shells, and harness components in line with standards.
Develop and execute test plans to verify harness functionality, reliability, and performance.
Conduct testing, analyze data, and troubleshoot to meet design requirements.
Prepare documentation including interface control documents, schematics, block diagrams, and installation procedures.
Collaborate with power, RF, and data handling teams to ensure seamless integration.
