Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer for the Space Systems organization in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on the design and fabrication of EGSE test sets used to checkout and operate flight hardware during ground tests.

You will join a small EGSE design team supporting multiple programs. Responsibilities include hardware design of panels and cables, integration, troubleshooting, and documentation, with interaction across subsystems, security, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with required experience (2–5 years depending on Level 2/3).
• Proficient in hardware design including panel/cable design and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate EGSE test sets for checkout, integration and operation of flight hardware.
• Perform hardware integration, troubleshooting and documentation.
• Interface with test engineers, technicians, and vendors to support test set tasks.
• Lead full design cycle of EGSE from conception to fabrication and integration/testing.
