Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer (Experienced or Lead) to design and develop state-of-the-art satellite systems for space-based applications across commercial, civil, and national security programs. The position requires strong fundamentals, experience with MBSE tools (DOORS, CAMEO), and participation in lifecycle events (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field as required.
• 5+ years' experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain US citizenship and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across subsystems to plan, design, develop, and verify complex spacecraft systems.
• Define performance requirements and assure interface compatibility across physical and functional boundaries.
• Perform analyses to optimize system architecture and lead trade studies.
• Lead or participate in program reviews and ensure SOW alignment with IPT objectives.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage technical issues.
