Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer for the ESG group in Seal Beach or El Segundo, CA. The role focuses on requirements development, V&V, system architecture, ICDs, and verification planning.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in engineering or related field, 10+ years in systems engineering, and an active TS/SCI clearance. Relocation is available, and the position is on-site with extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
10+ years of systems engineering or related experience.
Experience with satellite systems or space applications.

Responsibilities

Elicit and allocate system requirements from stakeholder needs.
Create and maintain testable requirements using a RM tool.
Develop system architectures with traceability to verification.
Write and manage ICDs, baselines, and change control.
Develop verification plans and coordinate testing activities.
Support integration and resolve interface mismatches.
Maintain requirements traceability matrices for reviews.
Participate in SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR and assess risks.
Collaborate with hardware, software, test, suppliers, and product teams.
Support configuration and change control for requirements, specifications, ICDs.
