Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks an Orbital Analyst to conduct orbital analysis and data interpretation to monitor satellite positions, trajectories, and potential collisions. You will identify anomalies and prepare briefs for clients and management, collaborating with ops managers and analysts across national and tactical elements.

You will grow expertise, learn new analytic methods and tools, and contribute to strategic requirements while participating in team mentoring and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages (shell, Perl, or Python).
• Knowledge of space surveillance and tracking systems (radar/optical).
• Ability to analyze statistics on space object populations.
• TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct orbital analysis and data interpretation to monitor satellite positions, trajectories, and potential collisions.
• Identify anomalies in satellite behavior and summarize findings for clients and management.
• Participate in meetings and briefings to communicate analytics results and recommendations.
• Collaborate with operations managers and analysts to advance target development and strategic requirements.
