Qualifications

• Experience with a scripting language such as shell, Perl, or Python.
• Knowledge of space surveillance and tracking systems such as radar and optical sensors.
• Ability to compile and analyze statistics based on current space object population.
• TS / SCI clearance.
• Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience with space, engineering or orbital analytics, Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years, or Master’s degree and 4+ years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct orbital analysis and data interpretation to monitor satellite positions, trajectories and potential collisions.
• Identify anomalies in satellite behavior and report findings.
• Brief clients and management on orbital analysis findings.
• Collaborate with operations managers, operators, and analysts on analytic methods and strategies.
