Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Orbital Analyst to perform orbital analyses, track satellite positions, and interpret data to support space missions and safeguard assets. You will identify anomalies, prepare technical briefs, and collaborate with operations and analysts across teams.

The role emphasizes strong scripting, space surveillance knowledge, and the ability to convey complex results to clients and leadership. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

If you are an analytical thinker, a problem solver, and a team player, you will conduct orbital analysis and data interpretation in order to monitor and track satellite positions, trajectories, and potential collisions. With our team you will analyze and identify anomalies in satellite behavior. You will participate in meetings and presentations to brief clients and management on orbital analysis findings

You Have:

• Experience with a scripting language such as shell, Perl, or Python

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
