Job summary

K2 Space is seeking a materials planning lead to ensure timely availability of materials for production and customer demand at our high-growth space startup in Los Angeles. You will manage MRP, track inventory, coordinate with suppliers and production, and build clear-to-build reports to flag shortages while guiding forecasts and schedules to keep production on track and on time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in material planning or supply chain management in the aerospace industry.
• Experience working with MRP in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, supply allocation, and management of master data.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment with engineering, production, and finance.
• Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage demand plans, ensuring accurate inputs within plans and the Bills of Material feeding into those plans.
• Create and manage Clear to Build reporting to provide visibility to stakeholders.
• Provide forecasts to the Supply Chain team.
• Manage digital allocation of material in MRP.
• Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, and Finance and Accounting teams to develop processes for working within MRP and related data.
