Job summary

K2 Space in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a materials planning professional to ensure timely availability of materials for production and customer demand. You will manage MRP, monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and maintain a Clear-to-Build report to prevent shortages and delays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of material planning or supply chain management in the aerospace industry.
• Experience with MRP in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of demand planning, supply allocation, and master data management.
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment with engineering, production, and finance.
• Travel up to 25–50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage demand plans, ensuring accurate inputs within plans and the Bills of Material feeding into those plans.
• Create and manage Clear-to-Build reporting to provide visibility to stakeholders.
• Provide forecasts to the Supply Chain team.
• Manage digital allocation of material in MRP.
• Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Production, and Finance and Accounting teams to develop processes for working within MRP and related data.
