Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an Associate or Mid-Level Structures Design Engineer in El Segundo, California. You will design structure/payload systems and components, using Creo, while collaborating across teams to meet requirements and customer specs.

Onsite role with a TS/SCI eligibility requirement, relocation offered where eligible. Requirements include a BS in engineering and 2+ years of CAD/modeling experience; GD&T proficiency and cross-functional teamwork are essential for

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials) is required.
2+ years related work experience is typical for level 2 roles.
2+ years of experience developing 3D CAD models and/or drawings.
2+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams to develop structure products.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross functional teams to interpret requirements and develop integrated assembly designs.
Develop and interpret space structure documentation using 3D CAD tools (Creo) and GD&T standards.
Support design for manufacturing, reviews, and process improvements to produce higher quality detail designs.
Provide engineering support during fabrication, integration and test of structure products.
