Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering.
• Spaceflight hardware design & NASA standards preferred.
• SOLIDWORKS, GD&T per ASME Y-14.5 experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and evaluate structural and mechanical components for the space station.
• Develop requirements and manage lifecycle of engineering products.
• Perform preliminary analyses using hand calculations and FEA.
• Deliver high‑quality models and drawings in a fast‑paced environment.
• Oversee manufacturing and assembly of hardware.
• Document progress and maintain an engineering notebook.
