Vast in Long Beach is hiring an Operations Specialist to support daily office and operational needs, assist with moves and setups, and maintain organized workspaces. This full-time, non-exempt role offers exposure to our growing space infrastructure environment and requires hands-on support in a fast-paced facility.

You will help stock supplies, prepare workstations, and support events while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in operations, facilities, workplace services, logistics, hospitality, or a related hands-on support role.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to follow clear instructions, complete assigned tasks, and communicate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Organize, move, and stage equipment and supplies.
• Assemble furniture and prepare workstations for new hires, including desks, chairs, and file cabinets.
• Support onboarding setups and workspace readiness.
• Stock office, shop, and operational supplies as needed.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Move equipment up to 40 lbs unassisted.
• Complete assigned tickets, checklists, and daily task lists.
• Escalate issues, risks, or missing information to senior team members.
• Follow safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Support general office and operations tasks as assigned.
